I SHOOT THE CITY + JAZZ (IN BLACK + WHITE)

I'm a new york photographer enthralled with the chaotic staccato of jazz in rooms entirely too small, but close enough to the stage to feel the spare elegance of every trumpet note, every bass thump, and every rimshot. Jazz, is a stripped down soundtrack to the energy that makes New York the most special place on earth. I try to convey that feeling in as visceral a way as possible...

Sometimes, though, I just try to take pictures of cool shit...in Black & White.
